Project SHARe: Stress, Health and Relationships

This is a five-year, mixed-method research project funded by the National Institutes of Health. The proposed research will provide an in-depth understanding of how minority stress affects relational functioning and mental health among same-sex couples. Results will be used to develop interventions and educational programs promoting stronger relationships and improved well-being for sexual minorities.
